Transfer students must seek academic advising from the BA Kinesiology Advisor in the Department of Kinesiology immediately. Students should meet with an advisor to determine the best courses for their individual circumstances.

In general, for every-one semester credit hour of enrollment a student should allocate 3 hours of study time outside of class. For example, a 3 semester credit hours course, may reasonably require 9 hours of study time, outside of class, plus anytime needed to complete clinicals. Students are encouraged to evaluate their energy level, familial and personal obligations, and school commitments before starting their degree program.

With UNT at Frisco, you'll have a front row seat to the sports industry at the highest level. The internship, following coursework, provides students with on-the-job experience and networking opportunities. The capstone project is a multifaceted assignment that serves as a culminating academic and intellectual experience for students.

The foreign program project is a unique blend of academic programming which provides students with global experience. The undergraduate research option provides an opportunity for students to develop and investigate their own research project under the guidance of SPMT faculty. The degree plan allows freedom for students to obtain a minor from a list of approved minors i.

The culminating experience has 4 unique options; these options are explained in the Culminating Experience seminar SPMT Students will gain approval of additional courses through faculty. As part of the directed electives, students may choose courses to fulfill a minor in approved departments.

You also may decide to continue your education through graduate studies in sport management, law, business, or physical culture and sport studies. If you are still in high school, take as many statistics and business-related courses as you can.
